last night, one of the very first things that joe biden did when they turned toward the economy was raise the auto bailout. one out of eight jobs in ohio is tied to the auto industry, of the 88 counties in ohio, 82 have automotive related industries in those counties. that's wildly popular in ohio. the obama campaign is making the case and i think they've got the better of the argument that the governor opposed, governor romney opposed the auto bailout and that's i think an economics jobs issue that the obama people are going to continue to push. >> patrick, a good chunk of governor romney's bounce came from this rise in republican enthusiasm after the debate. if the president is able to bounce back at the next one and move the needle on democratic enthusiasm, what does that do to the romney lead? >> i think romney needs to look at this now and look at the battleground states that are the must-wins, florida and ohio, he's so centralized in boston, i would send 100 people to florida, 100 people to ohio and just start gubernatorial races for the time being because that's how you g

. on thursday, vice president joe biden and congressman paul ryan tried to make the case for the respective ticket's tax plans, take a look. >> our entire premise of these tax reform plans is to grow the economy and create jobs. it's plan estimated to create 7 million jobs. now, we think that government taking 28% of a family and business's income is enough. >> okay. those answers weren't exactly full of detail, so let me see if i can help them out. mitt romney would cut all tax rates by 20% and reduce the top tax rate from 35% to 28%. he'd eliminate taxes on capital gains, repeal the alternative minimum tax and estate tax and cut the top corporate tax rate from 35% to 25%. on the other hand president obama would keep tax rates the same for those making less than $250,000. he'd also raise the top two tax brackets to 36% and 39.6% and he has supported the buffet rule. he'd restore the estate tax but lower the corporate tax rate to 28% from 35%. so the choice is yours, undecided voter. but i see a clear distinction with one candidate supporting the rich, the other the middle and working class

, do you think voters will remember less the substance and more the antics of joe biden interrupting 82 times and smirking through discussions what is quite frankly very serious and somber matters? >> frankly, i live in the south. we really don't like that kind of i am polite behavior, i don't think it went over well at least in the community i live in. beyond that, i'm not surprised that joe biden did what he did. after all, he and president cannot live on their accomplishments. at this point in the campaign at least in my experience in my campaign, i would be out there selling what i did. i would be showing how my promises have been fulfilled. we have broken promises, we have failed policies. frankly you can't live on that, what do you is get loud ear and louder. then we have paul ryan who did a good job on showing what they have as a plan. >> gregg: let me ask you about that. biden used the word fact more than 30 times during the debate. ryan used it once. vice president's facts seem in shorts supply. you can check out the editorial in "new york post." he voted against the two wars.
